I have no formal training, a late starter. For me it is about originality. For better or worse I struggle to find a new idea, then I produce several paintings of that theme, and then seek a fresh idea. I like the ongoing battle between chaos and order, perhaps a metaphor for my life . I’ve been less professional than I ought to have , but recently have become represented by galleries in Melbourne, Bangalow , Brisbane and Noosa , and of course continue to hold exhibitions here in Australia. Denmark and Asia are the next goals. I am overcoming my cynicism ( or insecurity) by entering art prizes. Art is not everything to me, a balanced life is, but art is alot, very much alot.  I’m glad I am not consumed, merely besotted.
